Hotel Finca Maresia

A fantastic little gem, tucked away in the rainforest of Drake Bay. Accommodations were private and basic, but that's exactly what we wanted. I cannot say enough good things about the staff, especially Emilio and Johnny. They went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. From organizing tours, transportation and meals, our every need was met with proficiency and warmth. The communal meals were delicious and a great way to meet other travelers. The grounds are beautiful and well-kept. Away from the center of town, it was safe and quiet. It was one of our favorite stays while in Costa Rica. We'd definitely return again.

They could have turned down the heat and humidity a touch. :)

Loved the tranquility the beauty of nature all around you and the family-style ambience made it a remarkable stay!

No A/C! Miguel and family are working to install and it will make the property that much more inviting! Didn’t help that it was an unusually hot end of June (per the host), and we’d been spoiled by A/C to this point.

The location is idyllic! You really feel Like you’re in the forest and you can see so much wildlife from your balcony.

Everything was great!

The hotel is in the middle of nature and has an open shower which is really cool. The staff are super friendly and they have cute dogs and cats laying around!

If you are afraid of bugs the open shower might be a challenge during the night.
