Nice, practical accommodation in the heart of the city.

The location was excellent and the view from my window was lovely. It is among the village shops, restaurants, cafés and is a short walk to the park and marina. The room and en suite were clean and in good condition. I met the owner only briefly on my arrival and passed in the hallway a woman who was cleaning the rooms only once. Most often there was no one on site.

Clean bathroom but it was a 'private bathroom' (room 5) which another guest used on the last day
The dressing gown behind the door to be able to use the 'private bathroom' during the night
Cafe downstairs was brilliant
Rooms well decorated and well equipped with lots of tea/coffee
Onstreet parking plentiful
Nice small settee in the room
Beds were not very comfortable and non white sheets etc do not give a 'clean' impression
Private bathroom open to other guests (should have had a lock to get into). Shower in private bathroom had no soap (shampoo and conditioner + 1 empty space)
Shower room in Room 3 - doors didn't close
Difficult to find
Smell of fish (I hate fish) going upstairs
Not enough sockets room 3
Steep steps were unexpected and difficult with a heavy suitcase

The room was a decent size. Bathroom was very spacious. Location was great, right on the front with beautiful views. Plenty tea, coffee and a kettle in room.
Actually didn't realise it wasn't a hotel but a serviced room. The decor, bed and linen was tired to say the least. The shower cabinet was tiny and and the hot water supply and pressure was very sporadic. Quite noisy at night, as needed the windows open for ventilation, but not a huge issue as quietened down later on.
