We love the location and the charm of the pub itself. It’s a proper pub with lovely staff.
The rooms decor was beyond basic - basically they’d just painted everything navy blue! Just a shame a didn’t have a little of the pubs style and charm. But saying that, everything was clean and tidy and it wouldn’t stop us returning. It just felt a bit YMCA hostel like.

Looks great from the outside. We spent two nights here. Liked the location of this property, & the staff were all very friendly & helpful. Breakfast was good. The room was functional, clean.
The bedroom was drab dark blue, the corridors were well worn, as was the bar area, with badly stained upholstery when sitting. The building is in much need of updating.
