Seoul Cube Itaewon

Location within walking distance to halal market, halal restaurant, mosque and subway station. Suitable for backpackers with affordable rate. The bathroom in excellent condition and with bidet for the toilet. Free breakfast but suitable for non-muslim only. No issue for me. Mostly the tenant here came for Itaewon night life.

Mattress cover not in good condition, need to overlay with my blanket before sleep. They only provide small towel for shower but still manageable.

Close to party street where there is a lot of of english speaking turists if u want to meet new people. I liked free breakfast and coffee. You can bring your noodles whenever and take hot water to make them.

You hear noises from the street and cars honking every now and then at night (but they provide earplugs).

I actually came back to stay here again because I really liked the atmosphere during my first stay last month. I tend to return to places where I feel comfortable and at ease, and this hostel was definitely one of those places. I stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights this time, and it was my second stay. I was pleasantly surprised when the front desk staff seemed to recognize me. After checking my passport, he simply said, “You know already, right?” 😂 It was such a small but funny moment, and I really appreciated how welcoming and familiar the staff were. The hostel was clean enough, provided a simple breakfast, and was conveniently located near Itaewon Station. I also always request a lower bunk because I don't like having to climb up and down too often, and they were kind enough to accommodate my request.

The cubes were beautifully designed, and for the most part bathrooms were very clean. Only issue was there were fruit flies everywhere, and I saw a cockroach in the lobby.
