Marina Burgas Hotel

Very modern building. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. There was secure parking on site at a discounted rate. The room overlooked the Black Sea and was very quiet. The city core was within 10 to 15 minutes walking. Good central location to visit Sozapol and Nessebar. Good breakfast in the restaurant.

On a couple of days the room was unbearably hot because the sun was beating on that side of the building and we couldn’t control the air conditioning. On enquiring we were told that the system was now set up for fall and winter so could not cool. After opening the window and door for a few hours we got the temperature down. The staff were pleasant but not particularly helpful.

everytime I go I have a hard time entering the parking, especially with the machine acanning the number. rooms are not very sound proof

The hotel is in a lovely location on the new marina and the rooms are clean and functional. The restaurant has a nice outside eating area on the waterfront which was lovely at night. The location is within walking distance of the train and bus station and is perfect to visit the beach, sea gardens or Burgas centre.

This hotel is totally let down by the awful beds. Having stayed in many hotels, I can honestly say these are the worst beds I have ever had. We were given 1 pillow on each bed and these were hard and uncomfortable. The shower did not work properly as the bracket that held the shower head was loose. There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room. After a dreadful night we headed down for breakfast. There was a reasonable selection of breakfast items but the cooked food was stone cold. I am mystified at all the reviews that praise this hotel.
