Grand Hotel Capodimonte

I loved this hotel and wished we could have stayed longer. Our room was exceptionally clean, spacious and well appointed. The Grand Hotel Capodimonte is indeed grand and exudes quiet luxury everywhere you look. We stayed in a Prestige Twin Room with Sea View and had a fantastic view of Sorrento and Vesuvius from our balcony. I can't put into words how beautiful this hotel is. The restaurants are beautiful; the food is delicious and the staff wonderful.

Because of the humidity and the greenery, there are a few mosquitoes, so bring your mosquito repellent.

We loved the location, it was a pleasant walk to downtown while feeling mostly quiet and giving a great view. The pool area was an amazing area to relax and enjoy the view. Everything was clean and the staff were all very considerate and helpful. The dining areas were also great to enjoy the view.

Not even a negative but just noting to definitely take a taxi from the train station, don’t try to walk with luggage! The price felt slightly high but overall we were still very happy with our stay.
