La Bitta is a beautiful resort overlooking a calm bay. The rooms as well kept, clean, comfortable beds, acceptable internet and TV. The restaurant is excellent and there are other dining options nearby. It’s really nice tho have your own private beach with umbrellas and loungers included and the heated infinity pool had amazing views … but read below because it’s not the best. We were here during a heat wave and the air conditioning in the room worked great! The staff is mostly attentive, though housekeeping is very skimpy on pool towels … if you go to the pool or beach more than once in a day, you’ve got to use the old wet towels. My biggest problem with this resort and why I would not stay here again … it is a smoking resort that allows cigarette and cigar smoking almost everywhere. The private beach, the pool, the room balconies, the patio restaurant and bar. It’s more than annoying when you’re at the pool or on your balcony or on the beach and the smokers show up and the fresh air is gone. And they don’t care … they keep smoking and you just have to leave. Even in the main dining room, there is smoke from the patio. I know it’s Italy, but much of the rest of Europe has more respect for non-smokers than La Bitta has. Come on La Bitta … it’s 2026 … have respect for the majority of your guests who are non-smokers

35/60min drive from the main attractions. We put the “do not come in” sign and they still went in. Nothing was taken, we just didn’t want anyone in our room.

Rather unusual bathroom without any door (separate door directly to the shower and another one to the toilet only) which does not give you privacy if you wish to use the sink (shave, brush your teeth etc). The elevators kept to be out of order which is not a good thing when you have luggage and your room is on the sixth floor.

Room was big and staff were very friendly considering that I arrived at 02:00 in the morning

The property lack amenities for being a 4 star as per your rating. Didn’t have complimentary bottle of water, no coffee or tea facilities. Toiletries didn’t include hair conditioner.
