The rooms were spacious, really comfortable, lovely view, very close to the harbour, shops and restaurants.
The breakfast does not meet the standard of a 5 star hotel. I’ve had a better breakfasts at a Premier Inn, not a single item at the buffet was actually hot.
The foyer decor is lovely, but the floors for rooms and dining felt like student/hostel accommodation - didn’t feel premium and very mismatched with the entrance of the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Crete. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and the service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone was welcoming, professional, and genuinely helpful.
A special thank you to Vasilis, who went above and beyond to make our stay even better. He gave us great recommendations for places to visit and restaurants, and he was also incredibly helpful with carrying our luggage and bags. His kindness and willingness to help really made a difference and made us feel very welcome.
Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

The first room they put us in was at the side of the hotel and we were looking at awful buildings, not quite what we expected from a 5 star hotel, they eventually moved us . The room didn't get properly cleaned everyday, and the rooftop pool was dirty.
