Mövenpick Hotel Jakarta City Centre

Lovely staff, all very helpful and professional. Bed was very comfortable. Pool and gym were good, and complimentary chocolate hour was a nice touch.

They have smoking rooms, and even though I was in a non-smoking room, there were times where I could smell stale smoke in my room and on the towels.

The hotel has all the comforts you may need, from the room itself, silent and equipped with really comfortable beds and good showers, to the pool, spa, and several restaurants within the building. The staff was very kind, the breakfast was great, with lots of choices. The location was fine although we found it very difficult to just go outside for a walk - but I guess that’s true everywhere in Jakarta. There was a big party for the owner’s birthday on that day and the hotel was fully booked because of it, and we barely noticed - no chaos or noise whatsoever. We had dinner at one of the restaurant and the food was delicious. We really had a great stay.

Everything was very good - maybe it just took a bit long (about 1h) to receive food when we ordered room service. But that’s just a small nuisance.

Second time in Indonesia on various islands and this is the best hotel (price quality) we have stayed in. Beds, pillows, room and the staff all great. Also the rooms are very quiet. No traffic or sounds from mosques, a rare thing in Indonesia. And a big thank you to Ruth who solved the only problem we had (A.C In first room) quickly and with no fuss. Thank you Ruth.

The hotel alone Looks luxery but outside it’s Not a good area and place to stay
