Hotel Fabrik Wien

Spacious room in a great location close to public transport connections. The setting (in an old factory building, surrounding a courtyard off the main road) was a bonus. The breakfast was included. It wasn't very fancy but a basic breakfast suited me fine. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and let me store my luggage with them after I checked out (till my train was due). Large opening windows in the room also great- it got quite humid with some thunderstorms while I was there.

Not many negatives. It got a bit noisy with cars driving into the courtyard during the day. This quietened down overnight.

Great location

Lovely surroundings in the courtyard, from the old factory chimney and the flowers/ greenery giving the hotel a secluded and relaxed appeal when approaching the reception Rooms were spotless and very comfortable, wish we had spent a second night here !

Nothing really, the only downside was the distance from the old town, not really walkable but there is a metro station near to the hotel with direct links to the centre.

Clean room; air conditioning in the room; beds comfortable enough. Breakfast was good.

It's in an awkward location. It's close-ish to to U-lines, but getting to them means either jaywalking across a busy street or a circuitous walk. And there's very little of note near the hotel, so you need to take a bit of a walk to do anything. The staff were... curt. Not rude or anything, but not particularly warm or helpful.
