Good location. Great value for money, with a friendly host.

Location was great. Breakfast was served exactly when requested. Bed was comfortable. Room was clean. Coffee service was appreciated.Shower easy to use

Stairs were steep to reach the room. Shower was small.

The room was spacious and well-furnished and included a small fridge. We were pleasantly surprised with a small bottle of red and white wine as a greeting present. It was also bright with large windows looking over the centre of town and the harbour. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Breakfasts were ordered the night before and offered a good selection of breakfast items. They were delivered to the room at the requested time and were freshly made and hot as applicable. Tarbert is the perfect jumping off point for touring nearby Inner Hebridean isles as there are ferry ports to Gigha, Arran, Islay and Jura with 10-15 miles of the town. It has a number of restaurants, grocery and other shops and a bank ATM.

There is some traffic noise as the property is located on the main road through town, but not a significant problem at night.

Large comfortable room.

Very abrupt “welcome” as we arrived on e-bikes in the rain. “You can’t leave those here”. Asked to move them, apparently as per an email …..that we had not received. Space to leave them was to rear of property in covered area. Breakfast provided was not as ordered. One solitary dry piece of toast without the requested butter or jam.
