La Casona de la Ronda Hotel Boutique

The staff was very friendly and helpful; they made you feel welcome. Especially the staff in the restaurant and the porters. We also liked the interior of the hotel: with the glass ceiling, cozy areas and gorgeous plants in an inner garden. The room was very comfortable and kept immaculate by house cleaning every day.

There wasn't really anything that we did not like. If there was one minor detail it would be the street, which was a little secluded, especially later in the afternoon and evening. The hotel is not located too far from busier plazas/streets (like a 7 - 10 min walk), but traveling alone with a younger child, I was a bit more careful and would have liked the immediate area to be a little livelier. The hotel always made sure there was a taxi ready, we never felt unsafe.

We liked the room with very large double king size bed. The staff was very friendly and the interior was beautifully decorated. The location was very convenient, walking distance to the Old Town section of Quito.

While breakfast was included, the offerings were fairly basic and since we had a late breakfast, some items were not available.

Staff was excellent. Very attentive and helpful.
