Domaine d'Essendiéras

This was amazing, we were blown away by the room, the setting, the food and accommodation of my dogs was above and beyond anything.my husbands words, it was insane and we loved every minute of our stay. The recommendation of the off-site restaurant was perfect. Thank you and would definitely return.

There was nothing we didn't like.

Total lack of any real welcome, personnel very 'distant' and one felt they simply wanted your money. The room was unheated on arrival which is unacceptable when temperatures can (and did) drop to around or below freezing at night. The room was sparsely furnished with no chair or desk so anyone wishing to work on a laptop would have found it difficult. All in all we felt unwelcome and out of choice would not stay there again. Breakfast at 10€ each was ok but hot toast facility would have been appreciated and its normal to ask guests if they woukd like more than one cup of coffee. This is more of a B and B than a supposedly up market hotel.
