B&B Sparrow's Nest

Breakfast was plentiful with boiled egg, bread,pastries,condiments, cured meat, cheese, yoghurt, fruit, tea, coffee and fruit. My room was very spacious, quiet and had a separate table and chairs. The location is perfect for visiting many attractions by walking. There is public transport just next to the accommodation and just a 7 minute ride to the train Station, but it's not far to walk there either. There is a large park (botanical I think) right nearby and plenty of grocery stores within a couple of minutes walk.

The internet did not work for most of my stay so I used up heaps of my own mobile data which was not good for me. There was one teaspoon only and the teacup was cracked. It would have been good to have a few more pieces of cutlery so that you could eat a takeaway or something at the table in the room. The shower was over the bath and a little challenging to get in and out of.

I liked everything, esthetic of the place, every detail, near bus stop, you can be in minutes from place to city center.

We liked the cottage feel of our room. The breakfast was satisfying, personally prepared by the owner. The egg was boiled to our preference, soft-boiled or hard-boiled. There were bread, butter, jam, yogurt, cold cuts, cheese, fruits, coffee, etc. The bus stop to the train station is just across the street and the bus stop for the city center is less than five minutes away. There are four flights of stairs to climb to our room which we didn’t mind, but may be a challenge to those with large luggage. We appreciate that there’s a fridge in our room. A nice cold sparkling water after a day out enjoying the attractions in a city is always welcome.

Linda (the host) is very friendly. The location of the B&B is very good.

Everything in my stay was good. However, it should be noted that there is no elevator, and hence it may not be convenient for the elderly.
