The view from the room was amazing! The hotel is designed to resemble a cruise ship with porthole windows in the hallways. All the rooms are oriented so their balconies overlook Lake Biwa with amazing views. The room had lots of useful surfaces to arrange your belongings and a comfortable seating area.
The pillows were very hard ( but this is true for most japanese hotels).

Great room with a view. Comfy beds and a good sized seating area. Lots of restaurants within walking distance to the hotel.
Only one coffee machine, which meant standing awaiting to make a fresh coffee.

Great view. Staff were exceptional especially in the Lounge. Everyone went out of their way to cater for our celiac family member which was a relief as it’s difficult to feel safe with food. Thank you so much.
The food was delicious too.

The pool is a great asset. The staff also. Specially the extra help we got from Masayuki-San. The views from the rooms are also very nice. The food (buffet) was also quite good.
The rooms could be cleaned a bit better Pexiallybon the high parts.
Location is far in a way from Kyoto central. We chose this location due to the outdoor pool.
