The Laurels B&B

This property is exquisite. We were greeted by our host and were struck with the ornate decorations of antiques in the house and the room. The bed was large and comfy, the stand alone bath was luxury and the little touches like complemetary bubbles, and cold fresh milk and water and tea and coffee in little glass antique style glassware. The room had its own balcony. The house itself had different rooms, they even have wine and cheese at 5:30pm and of course the breakfast at a large antique table was served to order by our lovely hosts. There were fresh oats and yoghurt, cereals and a hot breakfast made to order. The general areas of the house have so many trinkits and collectables which all spark interest and intrigue. The location is close to kangaroo valley and perfect for wedding accomodation or for the folk festival. It was reasonably priced.

We had such a wonderful stay at Laurel B&B in Kangaroo Valley. From the moment we arrived, Lindy and David made us feel incredibly welcome. They are exceptionally friendly, warm and generous hosts, and their hospitality really made our stay special. One of the highlights was sitting down and chatting with Lindy during the bubbles and cheese platter arrival. We heard a few fascinating stories about their family history and the history of Kangaroo Valley and the local area. It gave us a much deeper appreciation of the town and made the stay feel much more personal and memorable. The property itself is absolutely beautiful. Surrounded by nature and with such a peaceful atmosphere, it genuinely feels like a little retreat away from the everyday hustle and bustle. It’s the perfect place to slow down, relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Laurel B&B to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Kangaroo Valley. The beautiful property, wonderful hosts and the stories and conversations we shared made this trip truly memorable. We would love to come back again.

Breakfast was served at 8am, which made us feel a little stressed about getting ready, especially during a long weekend stay. Due to daylight saving time, it was effectively 7am. But the conversations with the host and the other two couples over breakfast made getting up early totally worthwhile.

The Laurels B & B was located in the spectacularly beautiful Kangaroo Valley. Our kind hosts David and Lindy greeted us warmly and we sat and chatted with the other guests over a cheese platter and a glass of wine in the glorious sitting room adorned with historic pieces. The following morning we were given a filling hot breakfast before we hit the road. A great stay!

Not much .the hostess and host were very friendly .

Unfortunately it was shabby and very stuffy. The Linen , pillows etc were very smelly , a damp mouldy type smell , and the smell from the drains in the bathroom was dreadful .
