Nice bright airy apartment. Close to amenities.

The studio was conveniently located near all the main attractions in Funchal. It was a 15min to walk to the marina where the car show took place and the sunset tours departed from..also it was close to the plaza where the flower fest was happening. The studio was equipped with everything I needed and the host was kind enough to store my luggage upon check out
Uncomfortable mattress, spotty wifi

Location
I am very disappointed with my stay. The accommodation was not prepared for 5 people as advertised. The sofa bed was broken, had holes (as shown in the attached photos), and could not be pulled out to sleep on. This meant one person in our group had to sleep on the uncomfortable, small sections of the couch, which was unacceptable. To make matters worse, there were cockroaches on the staircase leading to the apartment and also on the bedroom wall. This level of cleanliness and the state of the furniture are completely unacceptable.
