Very clean, friendly helpful staff. They let us check in early and upgraded us to a balcony room! Comfortable bed, 4 pillows.

Lovely location away from the bustle of the town but overlooking the peaceful lake. Well equipped kitchen that was clean to use. Comfortable and clean rooms. TV with Netflix Powerful shower with hot water Plenty of blankets for cooler weather Nice terrace to enjoy They did our laundry too English speaking guy on reception Our best Colombian accommodation so far

No where to buy a beer at night The bed was a bit hard No kettle or toaster

Lake View is very clean and the communal areas are comfortable and pleasantly decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room i had was clean but quite basic. It had a small verandah which was nice. There is a fair-sized kitchen in which to prepare your own food if you want. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby to get food if you prefer. Overall, it felt like very reasonable value for money given other places I have stayed in Colombia.

There are no meals available at Lake View although coffee is provided in the mornings. Some rooms do have views of the lake although they are not great! Guatape is a pleasant place to spend a day or two but be aware that it is very busy at the weekend.

One of the better restaurants in Colombia because it is VERY difficult to find restaurants that know how to prepare properly spiced foods anywhere in Colombia -very good Thai food here!

The beds are a bit short
