This house is absolutely beautiful and Kaori was such a welcoming and helpful host. Immaculately clean with an authentic contemporary Japanese style. Location is not only picturesque but logistically well positioned within walking distance to train stations, dining districts, pontocho alley, shopping districts and Gion district temples, shrines and streets. We had a very comfortable stay here as a family of five.

The location was great - from the view of the Kamo river to the walkability to great sights such as Kiyomizudera and Sanjusangendo. It had everything we needed including cookware, plenty of linen and even a koto instrument which Kaori taught me how to play. Kaori was very accommodating and told us everything we needed to know about the place and gave us plenty of recommendations too

It is a well-located place with a wonderful view of the Kamo gawa. The house is well maintained and well equipped. The host is helpful and welcoming. Most of all, it is the cleanest house I ever stayed for the traveling.

案内はとても親切でした。
チェックイン後は「いかがですか？何かあれば連絡ください」程度のMAILは来ますが、何もなければそれ以上の接触なしなので、気兼ねなく自由に過ごせました。
