Colosshouse guest house

It was close to a variety of public transportation. It had its own bathroom. In general, the location was safe, clean and quiet. The host was friendly and kept the place clean.

I would have liked more or thicker pillows/blankets and maybe options to cast Netflix/tv in English for when we got back. I would have liked to know the bathroom was in the hallway with a separate key.

The location was great, just a few minutes walking distance from the subway station and also about 15 min walking distance from the Coliseum. The staff were also very welcoming and helpful. The room was cleaned every day and the washrooms are well kept.

This was a fantastic place to stay for 3 nights in Rome. The host was very nice & friendly, communicated well & answered messages quickly. The room was very clean, in a great location - only a 10 minute walk to colosseum. It was comfortable and allowed us to walk everywhere we needed to go. The host also gave helpful recommendations and tips. WiFi worked well. Rome cleaned and new towels each day. Would love to come back when we visit Rome again

It would be great if there was a mirror in the bedroom. Apart from that everything was 10/10

Clean, comfy bed, strategic location.

Communication with the host were not nice. 1. we were checking in and dropping off bags, we have another friend with us. The older guy who check us in did not speak English well but me managed to communicate. He said it’s only two who can stay, I said yes and explain that the other person is a friend who is going to the airport and we are here to just drop off bags. I thought it was cleared up until I received a long text from the English speaking host lecturing us that only two people are registered and we cannot have 3 people there. To then I replied, yes understood, we are only 2 people staying. Then he sent another long lecture message saying as far as that the police can come and do checks on this. I called him, clarified, then all good again. 2. a day before check out, I asked about the possibility of late check out until 4pm as we need a space to work. I expect a simple yes/no answer together with the info on the cost if the late check out is possible. I received a very late reply to just inform me the checkout time. I thanked him for the info and repeated my question. Again after waiting for sometime, he repeated the same info and added there that there MIGHT be a new check in so NO, check out late is not possible. We tried to call so we can clarify this but he didn’t pick up the call but again we received a long lecture message soon after, about how a booking time is agreed and that there’s a certain time of check in and check out and soon and soon + “otherwise we have to pay for a half day”. This was the info that we wanted all along, if the room is available for late check out and how much. But by this time, we already did not like the experience and let it go and do our work elsewhere.
