Domus Cilento - Family Residence con piscina

We loved the view and the pool and that the owners / staff left a large packet of pastry's and a beautiful magnet for us on our first morning - such a lovely touch. The balcony's were large too and the gardens were fabulous. The beach was walking distance and we enjoyed swimming every day, the tide and beach were perfect for children and the local area was totally unspoilt. The view from our apartment was amazing. Takeaways were very reasonably priced, and to eat out too.

The apartments are on a very steep hill, those of our family situated at the top had a really steep climb and this would not be appropriate for anyone with mobility issues - even low level mobility issues, I have mild asthma and struggled. Our younger family members who are all thankfully fit and healthy found the climb to be a lot. You absolutely must have a car, we did not realise this and to our peril, taxi's are extortionate and Uber is not available or if it is, its entirely unreliable. Walking back to the apartment's at night was a challenge because it was very dark and very steep. We are a multi cultural family and most sadly our family members who are black experienced discrimination and offensive behaviour towards them when out at night in a restaurant, subsequently they did not dine out again.

Great communication, nice comfortable beds, great views and terrace or balcony for each apartment. Pool is well maintained and lovely to relax. Short walk downhill to town.

We had a fantastic stay here as a group of 13. The penthouse apartment had incredible views and was a lovely space for us all to enjoy together. We particularly loved the pool, which was a great addition and got plenty of use during our stay! The accommodation was comfortable, the staff were lovely, and surprised us with some breakfast pastries as a welcome gift! the whole stay was easy and enjoyable. We had a brilliant time and would happily stay here again.

It has a very nice swimming pool (not heated) and beautiful garden with some games for kiddos but which need urgently some maintainable since some where rusty

The house in general needs some renovation, shower base was rusty, toilet seat was not well fixed, one chair form the outdoor had a broken arm and there where 2 fridges in the kitchen: one didn’t close well from the bottom so was not cooling properly and the other was not working. Considering it was a house to host up to 8 pp there was not enough space for keeping things.
