Hotel Metropol by Maier Privathotels

This is a newer building, with all the modern amenities you'd expect. Our suite was a very comfortable size for the 5 nights we stayed there, as was the bathroom. Our room faced away from the streets, so was very quiet. Nice to have an elevator, to help with the bags. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, and efficient. Breakfast was the standard offerings for this part of the world, but a wide selection. fresh and tasty. On-site parking (paid) was a real plus. The location is about 22minutes walk from the old part of Munich, so it's a bit far. But there are 2 subway lines just around the corner, that get you there in 4 minutes! The hotel is also only about 6 minutes walk from the big amusement park where Octoberfest is held.

The bar is small, with very limited offerings.

Everything was clean and up to date. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious! Everything you could think of. The hotel was very close to the train station and a short walk to the Oktoberfest. We had a great stay!!

I really can’t think of anything.

The location was excellent - within 5 minutes of the Munich Central Railway Station. Staff were friendly and accommodating at all times. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

The friendliness of the staff- the impressive breakfast and lobby of goodies- the location and how quiet it was- beyond excellent overall- very welcoming and helpful- even made us a bag lunch to take since our flight left before breakfast
