Great location for exploring Ponta Delgada on foot and for exploring Sao Miguel. Hotel staff were very friendly and went out of their way to assist us. The included breakfast was excellent. We ate at their restaurant twice and enjoyed the traditional dishes.
The previous occupant(s) of our room smoked in the room even though it is a non-smoking facility. It smelled okay upon arrival but filled up with a smoke smell when the air conditioner was turned on.

The hotel is situated in a great location near sites and restaurants. The staff was very courteous and helpful and offered us beach towels to use in the thermal baths. The breakfast area was quite nice and the breakfast had a large variety.
Our room and towels were showing some age, but our room and the hotel facilities were clean and neat. We had an espresso machine in the room, although only 1 espresso capsule was provided during our 3 night stay, but we may have been able to purchase additional capsules.

Pleasant atmosphere.
The air in the room was cold, damp. Had to use a heater because the air, furnishings and bed linens in the room felt cold and damp. Bathroom quite small. But overall, accommodations were satisfactory.
