Hotel Eggers Hamburg

Nice clean room. Large breakfast spread with GF bread upon request. Robes and additional towels are provided at the front desk for the sauna which was great. Sauna/Pool area was also very nice.

The water in the sauna must have been quite old because it smelled when we poured some on the hot stones. That sort of messed up the sauna experience. But otherwise the facilities were very nice.

Quiet location. clean and comfortable. Liked the wood work of closet and bathroom.

No air conditioning. Room rate was a little high.

Location and staff

No WiFi and poor internet connectivity

The bed was spacious and there was free parking.

The swimming pool was freezing and you couldn’t get in due it being so uncomfortable. The gym was very small and there’s only enough room for 2 people max. The Sauna left marks on me and my partners swim wear. There’s no information at reception or in the rooms for the restaurant or for any of the facilities. WiFi was very poor and we used our 5G. The facilities are minimal, not enough wardrobe space and nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom. It was a premier inn stay at best, but at least premier inn has a kettle, iron and ironing board and smart TV.
