The Martinshof has old-world charm, a nice restaurant, and very fine accommodations. It is located within a 10- 15-minute walk of the S Bahn and a 2-minute walk from the bus line, which makes it very easy to get just about anywhere around Munich without staying in the thick of the busy city.

The room was very nice. It was clean with simple but nice decoration. Location was very quiet and felt very safe. Lots of nice places to run/walk in the area and the walk to the station is 10 minutes through a residential area that also feels safe, even at night. Self-check in process very efficient.

This is a very cozy and well-organized hotel, in a great and very quiet naborhood, yet with very easy access to the Messe Munich. The bus station with the two lines 190 and 183 leave almost every 5 minutes, and the ride is just 5 minutes. I liked the room with a quiet back-garden.
I was unlucky, the restaurant of the hotel was closed for vacation. A shame but understandable.

It was okay. For the price I expected a little more upscale. There was no receptionist when we arrived, the room was not clean and the restaurant closed unexpectedly.
No staff, rooms dirty and restaurant closing unexpectedly.
