Hotel Canasta

Beautifully appointed clean rooms , wonderful location, just steps away from everything in Capri town . Lovely breakfast, beautiful grounds and pool area . Mediterranean villa like setting .

Nothing really to dislike . Breakfast buffet somewhat limited compared to other hotel options but it was perfect for us. You get everything you may want . Just an observation.

Location is just off the main shopping street so nice and quiet. Wonderful pool, but the restaurant is not part of the hotel, and expensive.

No bar. Luggage realistically has to be via the capri porters at 10 euros per item, each way, unless you wish to trundle them through town.

Roberto was a fantastic host :) He made my stay perfect. The entire stay was fantastic. Beautiful hotel, perfect location, great breakfast and a lovely pool with a stunning view I can’t wait to go back next year!

Nothing. It was all perfection

The location is excellent, close to the Piazzetta, and the pool area is nice. That is where the positives end.

- I informed the hotel in writing weeks in advance that I had four knee surgeries and cannot use stairs. We were still given a basement-level room reached by many stairs, with no lift. When we raised it, the only answer was that we should have paid more. - The basement room felt unsafe. We could hear other guests' toilets and noise all night, and there was a smell. We could barely sleep. - Both my wife and I were badly bitten by insects in the room. The bites were large, swollen and very painful. - Old bathroom fixtures; the toilet flush barely works. - Housekeeping may throw away bags or packages you leave in the room, even after you have emptied them. - Reception is polite but cold and unhelpful. When we asked how to reach the hotel, the only suggestion was a taxi.
