MATCHA SAMUI RESORT formerly Chaba Samui Resort

Wonderful stay at Matcha Samui Resort! Excellent beachfront location, close to the centre of Chaweng but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet. Spacious, clean and comfortable room, excellent bathroom and shower, complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea every day. Lovely swimming pool, beautiful beach and very good food. The highlight was definitely the hospitality! A very special thank you to NEEL and GBOW at reception, who were exceptionally kind, professional and helpful. They assisted me with renting a scooter, provided useful information about flights and airline tickets, and were always available to help with any request. Their genuine kindness, patience and attention to detail made my stay truly special. The entire reception team was fantastic. Excellent service and a wonderful experience!

Nothing to complain about. Everything was excellent, and the wonderful staff made the experience even better.

Location is great. On the beachfront. Value for money. Friendly staff. Comfortable room.

The breakfast was a little disappointing as we enjoyed other years when it was Chaba. There was more Thai dishes to choose from. The staff were fantastic and room was good.

Breakfast was very ordinary. Would have lked More Thai breakfast choices.

Breakfast wasn’t bad, it had a good egg station and decent bread. The 4th floor rooms had a good view. The beach is nice.

Despite booking for 3 people with breakfast included they insisted that we must pay extra for our child’s breakfast (at 275/day for a toddler who barely eats). Felt like an unfair money grab. The gym is not usable. Ancient dirty equipment. Our first room on the second floor was very moldy smelling, made my lungs hurt. Luckily they moved us - the 4th floor room was much nicer.
