Hotel Grenzfall

Fine hotel for a short stay in Berlin. Staff very kind and helpful. Nice garden.

If the room could be equiped with a little fridge (like for a mini bar), and with a kettle for tea/coffee facilities, it would be most appreciated and a real plus.

Hotel is close to everything and works if you like either to walk around or take public transport. Staff was always willing to help and super cordial, in all occasions!

Quite expensive for the level of the room and hotel. Room did not have anything other than water. A kettle or even a coffee machine with pods would have increased the place's rate considerably. My son's bed was clearly just added as an extra furniture to the room, although he didnt mind much. The legs of his bed kept folding, scaring him when just relaxing during the afternoon.

Great location, very clean, very quiet, good shower, good value for money.

The hotel was in a good location and easy to travel from there into the main parts of Berlin.

We had booked a room with three beds. The third bed was a Z bed - we thought it would be a 'normal' bed. There weren't any tea/coffee making facilities in the room. When we arrived at 9pm on a Saturday we were informed that the restaurant was closed. The receptionist was unable to suggest anywhere to eat in the vicinity. As it turned out, we wandered around and did find a restaurant near to the S-Bahn. We did not try the breakfast. At 15 plus euros that seemed quite expensive, but there was a very nice coffee shop nearby.
