Very good location and clear instructions with great responsive help. Spacious and better value than the hotel equivalents.

Comprehensive information supplied beforehand regarding key details. And, the property is near the railway station and very central, so convenient to get around. It was spacious and a perfect size for 4 people to stay. Inverness is a small city and close to places of interest like Culloden, Clava Cairns and Loch Ness. There's also an amazing bookshop. Lively night-time activities in the street at the weekend... but the two bedrooms remained quiet.

Parking could have been closer and better as the loading bay outside was not always free and the single car parking space was a 6min walk. The kitchen seriously lacks sensible sized pans and enough cutlery, if you want to prepare meals, but there was a good fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Sofas look old and tired, ready for a refresh, and the bathrooms could do with more toiletries for the price of the property.

I didn’t expect that much, I knew the location was very central and expected it to be noisy. Instead, the bedroom literally had two windows, making it amazingly quiet. Generally, the noise with the windows open was bearable. The living room is much bigger than expected, and I really loved the open plan kitchen, which is huge, clean, and well equipped. The apartment feels a tiny bit impersonal - but that is to be expected when renting a furnished apartment, and I didn’t mind at all. The bedroom is nice, the bed comfy. The pictures on booking.com were accurate. An important thing to know is that it’s a bit of a climb, the first floor is two flights of stairs up - not fantastic for someone who has mobility issues, but the stair is even and has a good handrail. I also really appreciated that we were told how to deal with loading and parking our car, which would have been a huge challenge without help from someone with local knowledge! Inside the main door, there’s a laminated sign to put into your car window while you unload or load your car, and there are detailed instructions on parking spaces in the apartment and via booking.com. The staff was available and very helpful. I’m sure I’ll be back!

The apartment is well equipped with everything you need. Clean and comfortable BUT the website on booking.com is completely misleading. We thought we were staying city centre and in fact were 17 min walk from town. In suburbs. The address states city centre but it’s not. Make sure you book the right apartment before you pay
