Hôtel Koh-I Nor by Les Etincelles

Position of the hotel in the resort was amazing. Hotel was beautiful, facilities were excellent and the staff were so friendly, helpful and engaging.

The hotel itself, the location, the stuff and the attitude were incredible... The restaurant The Cave was wonderful. Thanks to Romane and the chefs...delicious and homie atmosphere... I hugely recommend this hotel... the spa a cute.

Everything was incredible... Maybe one suggestion to add some more vegetables and salads for breakfast.

The hotel is very well located, in one of the highest areas of Val Thorens, with direct access to the Plein Sud slope. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony overlooking the slopes. The spa is large and well equipped, with dry, steam, and salt saunas.

For a 5-star hotel, several things fall short: the gym is very small and can hardly be considered a proper fitness center (it only has one treadmill, one bike, and one elliptical, with no equipment for weight training). Most of the staff (at the bar and breakfast) seemed to be in training and very inexperienced. The room was not warm enough (we had to request an extra heater). In summary, there is significant room for improvement in service, as well as in expanding the gym and improving the heating system.
