Cosy room, with a comfortable bed and pillows which ensured a good night's sleep. Very quiet setting within Great Tew, which is a stunning traditional Oxfordshire Cotswolds village, certainly worth a visit. Dinner was delicious with an interesting choice of dishes within each course (we really enjoyed the baked camembert to share) and breakfast was good too. Because the inn is quite remote and away from main roads, an evening spent in the Falkland Arms feels quite special.
The bathroom was a box room which meant the sink was situated in the bedroom - but given that this is a very old and wonderful building with beams and limited space, this wasn't really a problem.

Too hard to bring suitcases inside as small stairs, small room.

Good selection of beers and food. Excellent breakfast. Original wooden beams in bedroom.and spiral staircases.

The location is excellent, the pub itself is lovely, staff nice and it was really quiet at night. I would definitely stay again, but next time I’d book a double room!
The single room was extremely small and dark. I also have a huge fear of spiders and unfortunately there were at least three in the room when I arrived, with a few more appearing the following day. Obviously spiders aren’t the hotel’s fault, but there were quite a lot of cobwebs around the room which could have done with being cleared.
