We had a lovely stay at the Ruapehu Lodge. Bernie and Marie were wonderful hosts and even let us meet their litter of adorable Maine Coon kittens! They cooked us an excellent breakfast and made sure we were totally comfortable. The property is beautiful and the room was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. This is a real gem half way between Ohakune and Raetihi and perfect for exploring the local area.
Nothing - it was all excellent.

Beautiful, immaculate place set in gorgeous countryside. Wonderful, welcoming hosts that have thought of everything, right down to the home made jams.

We had a great stay! Bernie and Marie are wonderful hosts—very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The B&B was comfortable and a lovely place to stay. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again, Rodney and Marie, for your hospitality!
