I liked how straightforward it was to collect the keys, and the call button was a great touch as it allowed us to connect with the host. However, it took us quite a while to find the key box! 😅 It blends beautifully into the black-and-white surroundings, which is great aesthetically, but not so great when you're trying to find it! Even though there's a big, bold “OFFICE” sign right in front of my unit, I somehow couldn't spot it for the first 15 minutes. I ended up wandering around the property, checking the front yard, and circling around before finally realising it was right there in front of my unit! 😂 I think it would be much easier to spot if the lettering were in a brighter colour, like red or orange, rather than black. My bad, I was expecting a traditional front office, not a key box!

The soft-close toilet seat was a nightmare! It kept closing on its own even when someone was sitting on it. My son had to hold it up to stop it from closing on him, and it startled him the first time he used the toilet! 😂 Thankfully, he wasn't hurt, as it was a soft-close seat, but it certainly gave him a fright. It has since become a family joke! 😂 There were also some issues with the water pressure, and the kitchen tap kept dripping throughout the night. I ended up placing the dishwashing sponge underneath to muffle the sound of the dripping water. Overall, there were some thoughtful touches, but a few practical issues could definitely be improved!

We had a very relaxing stay at this spacious, modern property. The size of the Cliff edge villa and cleanliness were excellent. Best of all it sits directly opposite Echo Point offering a fantastic vantage point, and the location is incredibly convenient to Katoomba's cafes and attractions. The property's layout and amenities including the kitchenette made it easy to unwind during our visit.

While we loved the space and setting, there are a couple of small touches that would enhance the experience: Tissues/kitchen towel would be a practical addition, and headboards on the beds would improve comfort and aesthetics. Given the nightly rate we felt the inclusion of more pantry staples beyond a milk pouch, coffee, salt, sugar would make the offering more complete. At this price point, a small welcome hamper would add genuine value and justify the premium cost.

Great location, opposite of the Echo Point

The kitchen is not well equipped, the tap is leaking.

The location was amazing.

The cleanliness of the place was a little low standard, bathroom especially. Exterior light didn’t work when coming home at night. The grounds were poorly maintained. Might be time to change the doormat it’s the first thing you see upon entry.
