Batavia Apartments

Batavia Appartments had everything I needed for my 5 night stay in Perth. The Appartments are about a 20 minute walk from Central Perth (Perth Busport) and about a 35 minute walk from Elizabeth Quay. The nearest big supermarket Woolworths Highgate is about a 15 minute walk. I arrived late and picked up my key from the Caretaker in Room 12. The Caretaker was friendly and helpful and assisted me later when I came to use the Washing Machine and Dryer. The Ensuute Appartment consisted of a separate bedroom and Kitchen / sitting room. The Kitchen had a fridge/freezer, hob, kettle, toaster and kitchen utensils. The sitting room had a dining table , chairs, settee and Google TV.

I was up early and not out late so not really an issue but the blinds let in light at daybreak. Everything else was really good.

Very clean and tidy and they let me checked in just after 12pm as I was early with my suitcase, other places don’t do this till 2pm , reception was a nice kind and helpful young lady , this place got a lift as well and coffee shop across the road , corner shop as well and the location is close to everything in the City. I will come back and stay here again. Thank you for having us

Early checkout at 10am

The location is fine, it is just a short drive to the city and 20-30 mins to everywhere else. Ample parking space. I only realize when we are going to the airport that there’s a Woolworths nearby (less than 1km). I think even if you don’t drive a car, you can definitely walk to and fro CBD from the apartment

When we arrived at 5.15pm, we had to check in with the staff. The staff was fine, gave us a queen room. She set up the sofa bed for us and left us to bring our stuff up. To our surprise, the keycard was not working. The went back down to knock on her door, nobody answered. We called, and someone answered that she went out and will be back “shortly”. Mind you my child is a two years old girl already standing outside the door in cold (8°c) waiting to get inside to rest. We waited for another 45 mins to one hour until she came back to open the door. The unit was quite dusty, my daughter has sensitive skin and she had developed rashes throughout the stay. There were also two huge holes in the curtains. I swear the holes got bigger everytime i touch the curtains. Need to request Towels and floor mat almost everyday, but at some point we just gave up.
