Fourvière Hôtel

The staff were great, there was a particular concierge who greeted us upon arrival who was very helpful and knowledgeable. Our housekeeping attendant was super attentive ( very rare ) and very forthcoming we were both down with a cold and without asking he realised we didnt drink coffee so he placed ginger lemon teabags and mint teabags in our room.

The spa area at night was not lit, and cold and bare, the hammam was probably not working properly either. The fact the pigeons try and steal your food at breakfast. Something needs to be done about them. Some of the staff at breakfast were lovely others just felt as though they could not keep up with the Sunday morning chaos.

I liked the old historic building of the hotel with beautiful gardens and very quiet.

Each time I go to the town, it takes a bit of an effort when returning as it’s perched on the hill. It’s beautiful but it can be a bit tiresome on a hot day.

Has a real wow factor, amazing architechture and the building is beautiful.

Sauna was broken for our whole 3 day stay which was a shame. One jacuzzi was always so busy, we only managed to get in it once throughout our stay

nice historic building

great historic building. the service and room doesnt live up to the price. had 8 pieces of luggage (passign through) and didnt want to leave them in the car overnight as not secure car park. when i asked for the trolly for the luggage no one offered to help at check in or check out with the luggage. they all watched me do it by myself. 3 people at reception at check out. was with a dog. so paid EUR 25 per night dog fee. which is fine. room didnt get cleaned despite me asking for it, was rainign a lot and the dog made the sheets a bit diry, really would have appreciated fresh sheets for he dog fee...
