Parawa House

Cute little colonial house. The manager Samitha was a great hostess, and made the extra effort to arrange hoppers for breakfast even though her main chef was on leave that day. Fiaz who is the senior staff member was great, looked after us well the whole time.

Very clean Fantastic location - a super easy walk around anywhere in the fort which was important for us with kids The streets felt safe to wander around after dark (when it is cooler, this town gets hot!) Lots of options for eating in the surrounding area Good air conditioning Comfy beds Bathroom had the shower at the opposite end from the toilet, design of shower meant the rest of bathroom didn't get wet Windows in bathroom could be opened to air it out (although not whilst showering as they are low) Shampoo, shower gel, soap and hand towel provided Very friendly staff, and very kind and welcoming to kids. They offered some extra toast for my daughter for breakfast who is a picky eater and unfortunately wouldn't eat the Sri Lankan breakfast Helped us with a tuk tuk to get to the train station when we left

Clean, good breakfast.

Great location, staff, breakfast. The room was lovely and had own balcony. So nice stayed extra night.

Shower not always hot first thing in morning.
