Great location. Very clean.

Great location, especially to the huge torii gate and shrine. Delicious food for breakfast and dinner. Friendly hosts.

This was the most beautiful place we stayed in Japan. The hotel is modern but traditional so the facilities were excellent. There was a lot of space, comfortable beds and an amazing shower and bath. We didn’t have dinner but the breakfast was great and they were able to accommodate a vegetarian which is always appreciated. The location is a short walk from the ferry port and easy to get to the sights of Miyajima. The Lawson is nearby and we were given a list of restaurants open late at the front desk which was very helpful since a lot closes early on the island.

Nothing!

A beautiful, very well-preserved traditional Japanese house in an excellent location.

Unfortunately, we did not feel particularly welcome. When we arrived, the room was not ready and the staff asked us to go for a walk and come back later. We understood the situation and it was not a major issue for us. The problem came at check-out. We were asked to leave the property as soon as possible, were only allowed to store our luggage for one hour, and were not even permitted to sit in the shared living room for 30 minutes while waiting for our ferry.
