Hay Hotel Alsancak

Clean rooms, desk , kettle and fridge. Having a rain shower and magnifying mirror in bathroom. Good location in Alsanak with gym, cafes, shops and restos nearby.

Construction on whole block around hotel

The staff were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. The location is also excellent. The hotel is situated on a pleasant and lively street with plenty of shops, restaurants and entertainment options, even late into the evening. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay.

The biggest downside is that smoking is allowed in the hotel. Unfortunately, the cigarette smoke also reaches the rooms, which I found extremely unpleasant and disturbing. Especially for someone with lung problems, this can be a serious issue and can make it difficult to sleep properly. This is personally the main reason why I would not book this hotel again, despite being very satisfied with everything else. One smaller issue is parking. There are plenty of parking options in the surrounding area, but the hotel itself does not have its own parking facilities or parking service. However, this was only a minor inconvenience for me.
