Park Hotel Silemi

We booked sea view rooms in this hotel and the view from the large balcony was amazing with the therapeutic sound of the waves providing background music. The hotel is over three levels with a great bar and very pleasant staff including Cinzia who provided us with lots of useful tips for nearby restaurants and places to visit. The ambience is relaxed with old world charm and a fab relaxing lounge area with lots of games, pool table, and chill out comfy sofas which are great to while away a few hours to read. The pool area is relaxed and the beach can be accessed by approximately 20 to 30 steps which if you like sea swimming is well worth the effort. Letojanni is within a 17 minute walking distance and Taormina can be accessed by car within 25 minutes. I loved this hotel and will definitely return.

Great location away from the bustle of Taormina (easy 15 min drive). Hotel must have been great in the 70s. Still it is clean comfortable and quirky. Pool gets bad reviews but it was clean and the astroturf around the pool is just another quirk. Breakfast was great. Machine coffee only let it down a bit but seems common. Good free parking.

Bathrooms are old. Beds are pretty hard. Pillows are thin.

The proximity to the sea was absolutely wonderful, especially for the value. The water was clean, the stones were great (no sand to wash off!), and there were always available lounge chairs. I was so pleased with the staff, especially Cincia. She was extremely kind and attentive, and she gave a ton of amazing suggestions. The views from the balcony were great, the breakfasts were filling, nutritious, and delicious. The fact we received beach towels was just the cherry on top! I liked that we always had parking and that we were only a 10 minute drive from Taormina, and a 10 minute walk along the beach from the center of Letojanni. I would absolutely stay here again!

Obiekt wymaga odświeżenia chociaż sam klimat hotelu z lat 70-80 jest fajny Infrastruktura jest już przestarzała i dawno nie remontowana - w jedną noc wywaliło prąd, łóżka mało wygodne (twarde - ale to rzecz gustu) Na tarasie widziałem całkiem sporego szczura zasuwającego przy ścianie. Najgorsza rzeczą jednak jest kwestia pobierania opłat za wodę w pokoje - myślałem że gratisowa butelka wody w pokoju jest czymś absolutnie normalnym ale jak się okazuje to byłem w błędzie bo hotel 4* jednak pobiera opłatę 3€/ butelka
