Les Etangs de Corot

Dinner at Le Corot was simply amazing. The location, service and cuisine were exceptional. We had visited a number of Michelin star restaurants on this trip, including a 3 star one, and we favored the food at Le Corot as a perfect balance between tradition and modernity. Beautiful dishes with classic ingredients and sublime sauces. The wine list was also comprehensive and relatively reasonable. The staff is extremely welcoming and highly professional. Le Corot was a highlight of our two weeks in France.

Lovely rooms and pretty bar terrace

We stayed on a Monday and both restaurants and the spa were closed

Good location, secure parking.

Room was poorly lit and noisy from the nearby road.

it was a great location between versailles and paris. beside a beautiful park. waking up to the sounds of birds everyday was great. having a balcony to sit on and watch the trees was very relaxing. the patio area is very nice, beautiful when the flowers are in bloom. it also has onsite self parking which we liked. the pillows in the room were great, overall the bed was very comfortable

the hotel calls itself “hotel and restaurants” yet we were unable to eat at any of the restaurants besides the bar as they were either closed or supposedly full (even though the entire inside dining room was empty). the staff was not interested to solve our problem of not being able to eat at the hotel (no room service either apparently according to the front desk). we only had one positive interaction during our stay. the shower in the room kept overflowing and water was going everywhere, the in room desk was some weird architects desk that slanted so you couldn’t really comfortably use it for anything. the lighting in the room was terrible. forget applying makeup without your own portable mirror. All are just bad design issues.
