Laschenskyhof Hotel & Spa

We arrived at Laschenskyhof by car and were happy to find plenty of parking spaces available. The check-in process was quick, clear, and easy. Our room was a standard hotel room in terms of size, but it was very well arranged, so we still had plenty of space for our family of four — two adults and two children. The room itself looked very nice and comfortable. Our room also had a lovely view overlooking the pools and the kids’ playground, which made the stay even more enjoyable. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and really enjoyed it. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We sat outside next to the kids’ playground, which was especially convenient for us, as the children could play while we enjoyed our meal. The breakfast was amazing. There was a huge variety of both food and drinks, with so many different options that everyone could easily find something they liked. It was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. The hotel was also very family-friendly, with heated pools and a great playground for the kids. These facilities made the stay even more enjoyable for the whole family. Another very nice touch was that during checkout, the kids received a small sweet gift, which they really appreciated. Overall, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The hotel was family-friendly, the food was excellent, the breakfast was outstanding, and the facilities for children were great. We would definitely consider returning to Laschenskyhof in the future.

The only small inconvenience for us was that although there was a coffee machine in the room, there was no kettle or other option for preparing hot water for tea. We therefore had to buy tea from the hotel bar, which was a little less convenient.

Unreal accommodation! Breakfast was phenomenal, rooms had the most amazing views, staff were so friendly and professional. They provided a parting gift of homemade jam and welcome drinks on arrival. The spa services were insane in the best way!!! Bus stop right out front and a quick 20 mins into the city. Beautiful trails and walking outside the property.

Beds were slightly uncomfortable but not too bad

Loved it all. Great facility with thinking of every little thing to big thing. The room, the spa, the restaurant, the stuff, the bar all perfect.

Even if you really try, you can’t find a dislike.

Hotel Laschenskyhof is an absolutely wonderful family-run hotel in Wals, on the outskirts of Salzburg. Although it is relatively close to the highway roundabout and the Salzburg airport, it is peaceful, quiet, and very pleasant for both adults and families with children. It is about a 15-minute drive to the center of Salzburg, or a 10 to 15-minute direct bus ride. It is a great spot for anyone who wants to explore and experience Salzburg while enjoying exclusive accommodation. The rooms are beautiful, stylish, full of light and spacious (we had Superior room in the Panoramahaus). The hotel is clean and has a truly relaxed atmosphere. Like others before me, I want to highlight the in-room coffee machine and the excellent pod coffee. Spa resort offers a range of great options for both families with even very young children and adults only. We stayed with our daughter this time, so we particularly appreciated the children's playgrounds in the garden and the family spa area. They serve great Austrian and international food along with local wines and biers. The food is truly delicious and the portions are generous, offering authentic Austrian Kulinarik and hospitality. The staff are genuinely welcoming and pleasant, and the entire team is exceptionally well-trained. We felt truly welcome and at home in such a friendly atmosphere.

The beds could have been a bit firmer, but that's obviously a matter of personal preference. Actually, there was only one thing that would fill this space but that was not hotel's fault at all - during our stay, local farmers were plowing and manuring the fields nearby, so we got more than enough of all the country smells and odors ;-) It didn't bother us much, but if someone is looking for accommodation without this aspect, it is good to know about it and choose the right season to stay.
