We had a wonderful stay at Relais Piazza Signoria. The location was absolutely ideal — right in the heart of Piazza Della Signoria and within easy walking distance of so much of Florence. Even though it was in such a central, busy area, our room was surprisingly quiet and very comfortable. The room itself had everything we needed, including a small kitchen, and the Wi-Fi worked well. What really stood out, aside from the location, were the people who helped us during our stay. The front desk staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and genuinely funny, which made us feel very welcome. They also kindly let us leave our bags there after checkout so we could do one more thing in Florence before heading out later to pick up our rental car. This was our first trip to Europe, so some things were completely new to us. At first, we didn’t even realize where the hotel entrance was — it looked like just a doorway tucked between a restaurant and a gelato shop — and then, lo and behold, there was this whole hotel nestled inside. Once we figured everything out, it all made perfect sense and added to the charm of the experience. Overall, the phenomenal location, quiet and comfortable room, and warm, helpful staff made this an excellent place to stay in Florence.

Great location in the Piazza Della Signoria with a beautiful view. The windows are very sound dampening. the lift, although small, is a lifesaver. The staff is very kind and courteous.

Lift is a bit claustrophobic and slow but still a blessing regardless

Great location and friendly staff. Our room had a beautiful view to Piazza Della Signoria

The lift is veeery narrow, so I wouldn’t recommend it for people with reduced mobility or families with a lot of bags
