Albergo La Piazzetta

Piazzetta was the perfect location, it was clean, staff was friendly, breakfast delicious and gorgeous view of the piazza from the dining area. I would highly recommend this little gem!

Nothing, it was perfect for us.

The location was great, a few minutes' walk from the beach, and in the middle of the town centre with bars and restaurants galore. The train station and ferry were both also within a 5 minute walk, which was helpful. The room was a good size, and the beds were comfortable enough. The breakfast was minimal, but it's good to start the day with a nice coffee :)

The hotel is very small and based on the 5th floor of a building in the town, without a reception desk downstairs, so it's just a little different. My son didn't trust the lift very much, so we regularly walked up and down from the 5th floor. The lift also only works if all gates and doors are fully closed, so as someone had left one door open, the lift was stuck downstairs, and we had no choice but to walk. Not ideal, but it didn't affect us too much, luckily.

Central location, breakfast was available at the hotel but we didn't have it. They stored our luggage for a while.

The hotel was on the 5th floor of an apartment block in a shopping mall type building. The rooms were quite old fashioned and had minimal natural light as the windows were not looking to the outside of the building, but rather an inside empty space. We had to have the lights on all the time. Parts of the room were quite worn and there was an ant station in the corner- we did see about 6/7 ants in the bathroom and the room. It was fine to stay there, but overpriced for what we got and wouldn't stay again.
