Boutique Hotel H10 Montcada

The location is perfect in the Gothic Quarter with lots of nice restaurants close by. Most of the main sites are not far away. The service was brilliant with staff happy to help with recommendations and booking taxis. A glass of fizz was provided on arrival and there was complimentary water in the room. The room and property were clean and nicely decorated. We booked a double room with a city view. The view was great and the room was a decent size with a nice bathroom. The rooftop bar is very nice with a good view and selection of drinks. We would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was the best I've ever had at a hotel anywhere in the world. The location is near many tourist sites and many restaurants. The rooftop bar/restaurant has nice views of the city, very convenient to get a drink and hang out. Staff was very nice.

The room faced an active construction site, which was nothing to look at and a little noisy. Also, the size of everything in European hotel rooms is a little too small compared to American hotel rooms, although Montcada's wasn't as small as momst European hotel rooms.

Great location! Safe and right near the metro. Metro rides are quick and easy. The room was clean and a great size!

We liked the location, the lobby, and the rooftop bar. The bed was comfortable. The reception staff were mostly helpful.

We liked less the size of room, its cleanliness and the care given to its preparation. We had to ask for a bath plug to have a bath. The reception staff asked for it back when we checked out or wanted to charge us for it. We weren't quite sure which? The bath was also far too small. We had to ask for a luggage rack in the bedroom on arrival because there was nowhere to open our luggage other than on the floor. This is not helpful for people in their 70s. We expected two chairs. We also didn't like the noise that came from the room above us all our last night. The air con controls were not functional and far from intuitive. Even the staff could not make them work properly.
