Hotel Vistabella

Ligging buiten de drukte van Roses. Nabijheid klein strandje. Prachtige uitzicht. Uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Valet parking.

Hoewel kamer voorzien is van alle benodigdheden en een prima bed heeft is alles toch enigszins gedateerd en gehorig. Heeft niet de luxe uitstraling die bij een 5 sterren hotel hoort. Geen reden overigens om niet meer te gaan. De rest maakt veel goed.

le manque d'insonorisation dans notre première chambre car nous avons demandé à changer ce qui n'a pas posé de difficulté. Après tout était très bien

Staff in general is really friendly and helpful. Especially at breakfast -which was very nice- good variety and quality food. We had 2 people at our party that couldn't eat gluten and the staff (especially the manager) made a big effort to provide us with suitable options.

I think the hotel is overrated, it does feel like a 3-4 stars hotel instead of 5 stars. Definitely not worth the money they charge. Our bedroom was outdate, though there are others that have been renovated (same price if you stay in one or the other). The 2 restaurants that were open didn't have a lot of options (very little gluten free plates) and staff at the restaurant weren't trained in food allergies. Also, even though it wasn't high season we had to wait a long time to be served and receive our order. They said everyone got to the restaurant at the same time and gave other excuses but I guess this is normal in every restaurant? It felt like they were under staffed. The indoor pool was small and the water quite cold.
