Hotel Vauban

The hotel was located in the Old City Center where there are many restaurants & shops. The staff was so nice & helpful. Breakfast was fresh & delicious.

No elevator to the first floor. But staff were very willing to help with bags that had to go both up & down.

This hotel has the perfect location as it is so close to many of the places to visit and explore. Public transport is also close by. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good, but they could do with a bit of variation every other day. The staff were very friendly and helpful all the time. They even gave suggestions on places to visit. When I needed to iron my dress, I was provided with an iron, along with an ironing board. All in all I had a very nice and relaxing stay on a budget!

Location is great and breakfast is good, you get a pre set plate with bread and a small croissant, some butter, jam, salami and apple juice, yogurt and coffee or tea. Bed was comfortable.

The place smells, the rooms are on top of the restaurant and all the smell comes up. The bedroom is small so to open the window you have to jump over the bed. The elevator is not at ground level and therefore you need to go to a first floor with your suitcase to take it and it will also leave you on a mid floor and from there on you either continue carrying your luggage either up or down.
