There was nothing I didn’t like

A beautiful Irish Manor house close to the river Shannon, a short distance from Limerick. The staff is very friendly and service oriented, both in the bar as the reception. Good breakfast with a lot of choice especially during the weekend. The bar has a warm atmosphere and good food.
The second floor can not be reached by elevator!
The room for wheelchair users is very small and unpractical.

The hotel gave us a major suite at the end of a very long day of travelling. It is a superb hotel with great food and welcoming staff. We felt cared for. The breakfast was superb, great staff, great food and a variety of options. It has been a highlight of our trip so far.
We liked everything

The staff are simply wonderful.
Unclear that there was no air conditioning, even in the new spaces. Unclear that the family suite was entirely separate from the nicer part of the main hotel.
