Hotel Kleopatra

We stayed in apartment 21, to say it was outstanding would be an understatement! The lovely lady at the property was nothing but wonderful and made my partner and I feel incredibly welcome on our first holiday together! It was incredibly clean and well presented, not to mentioned some fresh tomatoes and candied lemon (I believe this is a local delicacy), were gifted to us during our stay! There is a cat that roams the property who is wonderful and we made sure to give her plenty of treats during our stay! (Please see photos of her included, she’s adorable). Towels are replenished twice a week and the room is cleaned daily. The whole area is like a hidden tropical paradise! You’re less than 5mins from the beach and hidden away from the main roads so won’t hear traffic etc. located next to a beautiful church. You can catch the bus to the main town of Chania within 10-15 mins (not a walkable distance) which costs €2.20 per person and comes every 20mins or so!

We had a wonderful time at Hotel Kleopatra. The owner is absolutely charming: welcoming from the moment we arrived, and she had thoughtful little touches every single day that made the stay even more enjoyable. That kind of kindness makes all the difference. The bedding is very good quality, we slept well every night. The setting is lovely and full of flowers, very pleasant for unwinding between days of sightseeing. As for location, it's a great compromise: easy to reach Chania, and also well positioned for the nicer beaches like Balos, Elafonissi, and Falassarna. The apartment is a good size, very clean, and well equipped — we had everything we needed. A very practical bonus: free street parking, which makes life much easier when you have a car. Highly recommend!

The room was simple but it had everything we needed and comfortable beds. It also had a lovely sea view from the terrace. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful.
