A truly cosy and elegant hotel – there was even a real log fire burning in the lobby. The hotel and the rooms were beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The food in the bar was delicious and the homemade gin and tonic was simply unbeatable. Breakfast was wonderful and offered a wide selection of delicacies.

Lovely food, and by a distance the best nights' sleep we had in Ireland. A very relaxing hotel to stay at.

It was only just in our price range. ...but I guess you get what you pay for.

We loved our 2 night stay. We really enjoyed the gardens as we’re keen gardeners ourselves, we walked the gardens both evenings as well as attending the complementary talk on the house and gardens given by the owner on Tuesday. We loved hearing the stories about the history and folklore of the locality. Food was gorgeous, served up promptly by the competent and well mannered staff. Maith sibh go leir.

Couldn’t find anything not to like, we’d hope to come again sometime.
