Athena hotel

I loved the location, especially traveling by myself. I felt safe, the property was spotless, and the staff very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable.

There isn’t an elevator if you have large luggage.

It was central to old town. Great location for walking for food and shopping

No car access. It wasn’t a big deal as you can park at the port for free and walk. Also pack light as no elevator.

Convenient location on the Plaza. Nice bed, pillows, and linens.

Comfortable beds, good breakfast. Staff was quick to resolve an issue with other guests making noise and disturbing sleep.

Tiny rooms. If you have luggage, it's almost impossible to walk from one side of the room to the other. Very tiny bathroom with no space for toiletries. Nowhere in old town has parking anywhere near the hotel, so that isn't the fault of the hotel, but it's good for future guests to know - if you stay in the old town, be prepared to park far away and carry your luggage. It was hard to sleep well - the streets are noisy all night long.
